This is the first beat battle we are hosting and it is Pal vs. Probz. This is the sample they will be using by Elaine Elias. It is a jazz cover of Through The Fire by Chaka Khan that SLik d sent me. Just check it out and hopefully this battle will be a success. The winner will be determined through a polling system. Pal and Probz, your beats are due next Thursday so I can post up the battle on Friday. Post any concerns in the comments! Peace.

That’s right. We will be hosting beat battles here on this site weekly. I will find two producers to go at it by flipping the same sample which we, the Cosmic Souls Collective, will choose. The winner will be determined through vote counts, so maybe 3 – 5 days to let people vote. If you are interested in battling drop a comment and you might be able to get into the first one! Do you think this is a good idea? (we know it’s a good idea, but we need to see what the polls are going to look like lol)
